Is it going to rain?

7 days is a long time to be camping but I loved every second of it. My family is important to me – we needed to make sure everyone was safe in the country. The type of camping tents we had wasn’t right for the occasion so we had to go shopping. Timing was everything – the tent had to ship the same day or we couldn’t make it. We ended up having time to set up and inspect the tent when we got it. It was the right one! Luckily there was an expedited shipping special. If you ever get the chance to hike into a camp, take it. It’s so worthwhile. Couldn’t have asked for more…

Safety

So…I had to protect my house while we were gone. Got a home security alarm. There’s always that time where you think – oh crap, what if my photos are taken? If the computer were swiped, man…that might end us. Monitoring a security system is the way to go. It’s a tiny bit more expensive, but much safer we think. The system was not invasive to our home. Turns out we didn’t have to worry but we felt safer while traveling.
